📆 Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Tulum and Cobá | From the Caribbean to the Maya Interior

  • Morning departure by private vehicle from Cancún, Playa del Carmen or the Riviera Maya.
  • Visit Tulum, where Maya temples rise above the Caribbean coast. Learn about the city’s role in regional trade, religion and coastal defense.
  • Continue to Cobá, an extensive Maya city connected by ancient sacbé roads and surrounded by tropical vegetation and lagoons.
  • Proceed to Valladolid for hotel check-in and an evening at leisure in the colonial center.

Day 2

Ek Balam, Cenote and Colonial Valladolid

  • Travel to Ek Balam, a major Maya city known for the Acropolis and its detailed stucco decoration.
  • Continue to a selected cenote for swimming and lunch. The exact cenote can be chosen according to accessibility, group profile and operating conditions.
  • Return to Valladolid for a guided walk through the central plaza, San Servacio Church, Calzada de los Frailes and the Convent of San Bernardino de Siena.

Day 3

Chichén Itzá, Izamal and Arrival in Mérida

  • Depart early for Chichén Itzá to visit the site under more comfortable conditions. Explore El Castillo, the Great Ball Court, the Temple of the Warriors and other principal monuments.
  • After the archaeological visit, enjoy lunch at a selected regional restaurant or hacienda.
  • Continue to Izamal, known for its yellow façades, colonial convent and deep Maya roots.
  • Arrive in Mérida and check in at the selected hotel. Evening at leisure or optional Yucatecan dinner.

Day 4

Uxmal and Kabah | Masterpieces of the Puuc Route

  • Travel south from Mérida to Uxmal. Explore the Pyramid of the Magician, Nunnery Quadrangle, Governor’s Palace and the elaborate stone mosaics characteristic of Puuc architecture.
  • Continue to Kabah, recognized for the Codz Poop and its façade covered with representations of the rain god Chaac.
  • Enjoy a selected lunch and return to Mérida. An optional evening cultural performance or gastronomic activity can be arranged.

Day 5

Mérida Culture and Departure

  • Transfer to Mérida International Airport or continue with an optional return transfer to Cancún / Riviera Maya.
