Day 2, MEXICO CITY

  • The visit includes the New Basilica, where the sacred image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is venerated, as well as the Old Basilica, the Chapel of the Indians, the Capuchin Convent Church and Tepeyac Hill, traditionally associated with the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Saint Juan Diego in December 1531.

  • Today the group visits Tulpetlac, the site traditionally associated with the Fifth Apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe, where the Virgin appeared to Juan Bernardino, uncle of Saint Juan Diego.
