Day 1, ARRIVAL IN CHIHUAHUA AND CITY TOUR
- Welcome to Chihuahua, the gateway to Copper Canyon.
- Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
- Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a city tour and discover some of Chihuahua’s most important landmarks, historic sites and local culture before beginning your journey through northern Mexico.
Day 2, CHIHUAHUA TO CREEL
- Travel from Chihuahua to Creel through the changing landscapes of the Sierra Tarahumara.
- Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour around the area, where you may visit natural and cultural attractions such as Lake Arareco, the Valley of Mushrooms and Frogs, San Ignacio Mission, and nearby Tarahumara communities.
- Creel is one of the most charming mountain towns in the region and an essential stop on any Copper Canyon trip.
Day 3, CREEL TO BARRANCAS DEL COBRE
- Continue your journey toward Barrancas del Cobre, one of the most impressive canyon systems in the world.
- Along the way, enjoy spectacular mountain scenery and fresh highland air.
- Once in the canyon area, take time to admire the panoramic viewpoints, walk around the rim and experience the dramatic beauty of the landscape. This is one of the most memorable parts of the entire tour.
Day 4, CHEPE EXPRESS FROM DIVISADERO / BARRANCAS DEL COBRE TO LOS MOCHIS
- Board the Chepe Express and enjoy one of the most scenic train journeys in Mexico.
- Travel from the canyon region toward Los Mochis while admiring ravines, tunnels, bridges and changing landscapes along the route.
- This train experience is one of the highlights of the tour and an unforgettable way to discover the beauty of Copper Canyon.
Day 5, DEPARTURE FROM LOS MOCHIS
- After breakfast, enjoy your transfer according to your travel plans.
- This marks the end of your 5-day Copper Canyon adventure.
- You may also ask about optional extensions or additional nights if you wish to continue exploring the region.
