Guadalajara is surrounded by valuable natural parks, La Primavera is located in the Sierra of the same name some 20 kilometers west of Guadalajara.

 
  Guadalajara is surrounded by valuable natural parks, La Primavera is located in the Sierra of the same name some 20 kilometers west of Guadalajara. It is considered one of the most important national parks in the metropolitan area and the main lung of the city of Guadalajara. It has an extension of 36 299 ha, of which 30 500 were declared in 1980 as Protected Natural Area under the category of “Forest Protection zone and Wildlife Fauna Refuge”, covered by forests with pines where you can observe what was once El Colli Volcano.
In its installations you can walk, climb hills and observe flora and fauna with over 1 000 samples of endemic plants like pines in addition to orchids and a large amount of mushrooms. Its fauna registers over 106 animal species and 137 varieties of birds, among the fauna are: white tailed deer, pumas, coyotes, calandra lark and owls among other species of animals. This will be an excellent option to enjoy natural beauties that this incredible park can offer.
