 In the beautiful Eco-Arqueological Park of Xcaret you will be able to enjoy nature, located no more than 5 kilometers from the Carmen Beach in Riviera Maya, home to rich diversity of fauna and among them incredible birds. You will be able to find an area for reproduction and bird exhibition in the region with over 30 species, some of which are in danger of extinction among them are the flamencos, guacamayas and tucans.
Xcaret is part of an ambicious project of growth and reproduction of the Guacamayas, among other species. These birds that were at one time found in the Mexican states of Veracruz, Oaxaca, Tamaulipas and Chiapas, are in danger of extinction and can only be found in the jungles of Chiapas. Another of the species in development are five different types of Flamencos found in the Peninsula of Yucatan where you can appreciate these beautiful birds, among many others that are part of the bird nursery and will surprise you with its singing. Xcaret and its surroundings also offers you a broad range of recreational and fun options, archeological sites, beautiful beaches and spaces of natural interests that you can visit, enjoy and know.
