Jalcomulco is located 143 kilometers northwest of Puerto de Veracruz and 45 kilometers from Xalapa on the margen of the Pescados River. This destination in Veracruz is prefered among vacationers to practice adventure sports among them rappel. Eco-tourism activities are also carried out like walks, observing flora and fauna, mountain biking, camping among others. In the rivers in the region you can enjoy rafting in the rapids of the Antigua-Pescados Rivers and Barranca Grande. This is an excellent proposal to combine nature and adventure. There are offers of thermal or prehispanic baths.
Jalcomulco has a number of gullies and interesting hills like: Barranca de Tuzamapan; Chicabaxtla; Cerro de Pizaltepec, where you can currently find an archeological area called Cotlamani, Cerro de la Mesa de Olvera and Boludo, excellent for rappel.
