 The mountain range in the region of Tabasco is characterized by being a natural attraction with exhuberant flora and fauna. There are three very special peaks enclaved in the surrounding areas of Villahermosa, capital of Tabasco.
La Mascupana, located in the region of Grijalba some 52 kilometers from Villahermosa has an extensive network of 27 lagoons. Among those that are highlighted are Paloma, Limon and Manatinero. They are very good for rappel. It has outstanding rivers like Mascupana, Tulijá, Puxcatán, Tepetitán and Chilapa, all ideal for fishing.
The Agua Blanca park is also outstanding with beautiful and exhuberant waterfalls. The area has the Ixta-Ja cavern, ideal for speleology and rappel. The area has the magical towns of Teapa, Tacotalpa and Mascupana.
