  Rapids in Huasteca Potosina, San Luis Potosi  
     
  The Huasteca Potosina, called that way for the presence of important huastecos groups, is one of the tour areas that make up the State of San Luis de Potosí and is found enclaved in the middle of eastern Sierra Madre. This paradise has indescriptable beautiful landscapes and is distinguished by its abundant tropical vegetation bathed by several rivers and lagoons, accompanied by its rich fauna; among the mountains, San Martin, Tamazunchale, Nicolas Perez and Tanchipa.
Begin in the town of Tanchachín, where you will depart on canoe, rowing up to the Gallinas River, casting down 105 m high over the Santa Maria River, made up by the Tamul Waterfall, the highest in the State, where you can rappel on the side. Live the descenting emotion of the rapids of the canyon of Tampaon River of Class II and III made up by large rocks; from there to the Mico Watefalls with Class II rapids. Another of the region´s attraction are the Sotano de las Golondrinas, one of the deepest abyss in the world; the Sotano de las Guaguas located in the same path; in Tamasopo you can also go rafting in its river, enjoy and jump into its waterfalls, in addition, the Puente de Diso is a perfect place for diving.
